I suppose we all think of these things differently.
I think of the coffee/strength couplet as being a measure of character. Strength, to me, is more a measure of determination and resolve. I get by with less strength, because I have enough character to overwhelm the things others deal with using resolve.
So I hold the door open because it pleases me. I wait in line without impatience because I'm interesting - Boredom can't get a foothold on my sleek, shiny surface.
Or I'm an arrogant bastard. Either way. |
