Does Aunt Charlotte know you wrote this? It is a beautiful tribute...you should tell her. She would find it very comforting. When I said goodbye to Uncle Bart the day I left his side (and the day he left this earth) I thanked him for all of us; I whispered in his ear that he taught all of us kids how to look adults in the eye, be respectful, shake hands, and tell it like it is when someone asks you a question; you described it so well! He was such a special man, wasn't he? You are a great writer, Kev and this was a fine, fine tribute...something good is coming around the corner for you, I can feel it. I love you. Nic |
