November 10, 2006 America Living in this country - in this day and age- is difficult to explain. Watching the current regime slowly, methodically, and malevolently take away my rights as an American citizen was, and is, both sickening and disconcerting.But today is a little different. Today the Democrats control the senate. Not to say that a majority of Democrats is the answer (I have my issues with them, as I do with Republicans) but it's a start. I believe, it's a good start, a step, as the kids say, in the right direction. I am not celebratory, but I am hopeful. Mark my words, and mark'em well: George W. Bush shall go down in history as the WORST president this country has ever had. If I had a hope it would be that the liberals could repair, at the very least, a small percentage of what the supposed "conservatives" have effectively destroyed. [Add Comment] 0 Comments |
