January 19, 2007 MADNESS INCARNATE I am more than troubled by the affairs going on in my own government. I am terrified.Never, in all my years, have I witnessed such unabashed and naked hostility by a "world" leader towards "would-be" foes, or rather the world at large. Never, have I seen an American president- employee, if you will of the populace- show such a haughty disregard and arrogant self-righteousness towards the congress and the senators. Never, have I seen a "leader" express such an all-encompassing, callous, disdain for human life; whether it be his citizens or the citizens of the country, he plans to invade. I apologize for being redundant, but I'm terrified of my president. I can only imagine what people from other countries think of President G. W. Bush, as well as us. You have to know that I lived through the Reagan years, and regardless of what was said at the time of his death, those were dark years, full of distrust, secrecy, and apprehension. What I felt then, pales in comparison to what I'm feeling now. Our country, the United States of America, has become one of the greatest scourges the world has ever seen. We have invaded a country on the pretenses of lies. Our president, King George, is, and forever will be, the most infamous serial killer the world has ever seen. More so, his insistence to spread our already thin forces even thinner by possibly invading Syria or Iran is not just stupid, ill-conceived, ignorant, zealot-like, and arrogant; it is clinically insane. When you have a president that publicly announces he will willfully ignore the decision of his governing body, mainly the senators which make up the U.S. congress, and put more troops in Iraq, endanger more American lives, slaughter and sacrifice the youth and the future of our country in his fruitless, bloody escapade; then said democratic leader is no longer a president, he is, in point of fact, a dictator- a tyrant. I say to you, that he is no better than Saddam Hussein. As a matter of fact, King George is worse, for he has far more military firepower and destructive capability at his fingertips than Hussein ever did. You may well, balk, and say that King George has not murdered his own people, as did Hussein. I would then retort, and say, "what would you call 3,000 dead, and climbing, in supposed defense of not one lie, not two, or three, or four, but many, if not murder?" Still, I find, much to my incredulity that G. W. is irrevocably untouchable. Not even the Democrats, supposed "poster boys and girls" of the U.S. constitution, will so much as hint, and or, whisper, at the possibility of impeachment. Gutless cretins as they are, and finding myself affiliated with neither party, the Democrats have had every conceivable advantage, opportunity, and catalyst to go after Bush as a liar, a war criminal, and a human rights violator. But they won't. At least they have stated, time and time again, that they will not even consider the possibility. And then we, as a people, wonder where Bush gets the ideas that he can do whatever he pleases, not only on a whim, but with the utmost impunity. [Add Comment] 0 Comments |
