The New Year Dawns...
Well, life continues, much to my surprise. I have been sorely absent from my Random Thought's, for that I am sorry. However, I have been working, and things have been moving… of a sort. Of course, nothing moves as quickly as I would like, but as with everything in life, the move nonetheless.
Recently, I finished my seventh screenplay, a science fiction epic, tentatively entitled "Manifest Destiny". Thanks to my brother, I've made some contacts in the Hollywood gristmill, and if fate favors me kindly, might be I can, and will, sell something this year; or at the least, get an agent, or manager, who isn't a thief. I've gotten some reads for my novel "The Bingo Game", which in and of itself is a victory of some nature. My good friend Julie is patiently helping me through this process. My life moves ever forward. The initial pain of 2005 has worn down to only a dull ache, which, as time lumbers on, grows duller by the day.
I wanted to reach out to all my friends and family, and let you know that I love you all, and wish for you the most successful and fulfilling 2006.
Be good to yourselves. Live life, with every breath you take. Drink, eat, make love, revel, and allow passion to be your guide, imagination your warmth, and integrity your light in times of darkness.
