August 13, 2006 Life... and everything in between. All right. I did well last weekend. Actually, I did alot better than I thought I would do. Went to a huge writers convention, and pitched my horror screenplay, and my thriller novel. Pitched to five people and three asked to read my work; one a literary agent, the other an agent for New Line Cinemas.Am I excited? Yes. Do I expect anything? No... been down this road too many times to expect much. Does it mean in, let's say a years time, either my movie or my novel will be produced? No... but as of this writing I now have six things out being read. Hell! If it would do any good I'd sacrifice a few fatted calves to the Gods of literary success. As it is, I am I.
