  CARGO

I really enjoy watching Martin Freeman act. One of the things I always say about good acting is the simple fact of whether or not I believe them. With Martin Freeman it doesn't matter what he's doing or who he's playing I have always believed him. And "Cargo" is just more of an excellent same. There's not much original here; albeit the infected burying, quite literally, their heads in the sand freaked my shit out... for lack of a much better phrase. Post-apocalyptic survival story about a man who loses his wife to a bite from the infected and then is in a race against time, before he too changes, to get his toddler daughter to safety. But there's some mighty good cinematography, and Freeman is exceptional, as always. There's also a certain tenderness that is found lacking in most zombie-apocalypse stories that I did find refreshing, and you know what?... original. (So, scratch that last bit about this movie having not much originality.)

"Cargo" is great. I was thoroughly entertained, and that is why I give it a solid, well deserved, FAST FOOD MEAL review.
