What can I say, The Hunt is fuckin' brilliant!
Talk about scathing social commentary.
The Hunt brilliantly takes a microscope to our two, decidedly warped political parties, and masterfully mocks them both equally. It's equal parts horror, satire, comedy, and just a little dram of drama to spice it all up. Betty Gilpin is fantastic. Her performance comes off a little strange at times, but I think that only adds to the mystery surrounding her character.
Hell! I'm struggling with whether or not I should give this film a FOUR COURSE MEAL review. But I think I'll stick with my original assessment, and keep with the FAST FOOD MEAL review.
Some people won't like this movie because of the gore and violence factor, some people won't like it for political reasons, but don't listen to those people. And take my advise, The Hunt is brilliant.
