I'm waffling on "Infinity Wars". On the one hand there is the wonderful writing and dialogue, and the amazing performance by Josh Brolin, via a C.G. Thanos. And yet, on the other hand, there's everything I hate about these superhero movies... all the god damn C.G.I.! I realized after watching the film that there is not one... NOT ONE villain in this movie that is NOT C.G.I. All of them from Thanos to every single one of his minions is simply a fucking cartoon. And that bugs me. Yes. Brolin emoting is captured brilliantly through the C.G.I. mapping of his face, but seeing every baddy that way takes me out of the freakin' story.
I just don't know with this one... on one hand it's a BIRTHDAY CAKE review, on the other hand it's a FAST FOOD MEAL review. Time for you to decide.
