Now here's a movie! "Oblivion" may not be the most original Sci-Fi story every told, but I do think it's a smart, sumptuous Sci-Fi movie that gave me everything I wanted, and then left me wanting more. Kosinski directed "Tron: Legacy" which I liked, more for the visuals and sound than for the convoluted story and little character growth. "Oblivion" is a more concise, intimate story with a hero you can believe in. Unlike "Jack Reacher" Tom Cruise is perfectly cast as Jack (whoa, another Jack), and the story moves along at a calm, intelligent, gripping pace.
I loved "Oblivion", that's why I give it a high FAST FOOD review.
