SPOILER ALERT!
There is a scene in the movie "Captain Phillips", the very last scene with Mr. Tom Hanks that had me in tears, full-blown weeping. It took me back to the days when we were taking my dad to the emergency room once a month, and seeing him confused and scared on the gurney (then of course, he'd realize everyone was paying attention to him and relax and sleep the best he'd slept in months... go figure. My dad was a strange, wonderful person). This last scene is worth the price of admission alone, however, the rest of the movie is equally both parts riveting and powerful. It reminded me of my first viewing of "Black Hawk Down": white-knuckle, arm rest-clutching, nail-biting drama. Not to mention the cinematography... phenomenal.
See "Captain Phillips". It's a FOUR COURSE MEAL review, and one helluva fun ride!
