Yes. You read it correctly. I am giving a horror movie "Oculus"- a FOUR COURSE MEAL review. And why is that? How can a HORROR movie get such a coveted review? Well, the answer's simple. It's brilliant. I went into this film expecting to be very disappointed. Hell! I almost didn't rent the thing, all because I found the trailer to appear amazingly stupid and heavy-handed. Holy crap, was I wrong! This film is a psychological horror treat that is well acted, well directed, and with a story and character development worthy of any dramatic tale.
I loved this movie. And it's perfect for the coveted month of October.
