Taylor Sheridan, the director of "Wind River" is an actor/writer, and "Wind River" is his first outing in the directors chair. First off, he is a great writer- he wrote "Sicario" and "Hell or High Water", and he also ended up writing "Wind River" too. The movie is fantastic, as well as important, shining a light on the plight of the American native like no other movie before it. Not only that, but his movies have a humanity which draws you in as only good writing can.
"Wind River" gets and extremely solid FOUR COURSE MEAL review. Don't let this one pass you by.
