The movie, "Up In the Air", is brilliant. It is, in point of fact, not an easy film; in the same manner of films like "Crash" and "The Hurt Locker". There are no hard and fast rules. It is complicated, to say the least: funny, tragic, sad, irreverent, touching. There is honor and there is betrayal. "Up In the Air" is intelligent and absolutely brilliantly written (I could tell it was based on a novel), treating its audience with a sense of respect rarely seen in modern movies. Clooney's performance is understated and superb, as are all the actors. The cinematography is beautiful, and Jason Reitman's direction masterful. I loved every second of this film.
"Up In the Air" gets a FOUR COURSE MEAL review.
