There have, I am most happy to say, been some incredible horror movies in the past few years: "The Autopsy of Jane Doe" and "Bone Tomahawk" are the two that come to mind. The horror genre has typically been one in which you have to sift through the bad (and there's a lot of bad) to find the good. "The Devil's Candy" is good. Maybe not the most original film, "The Devil's Candy" is both filmed exceptionally well and acted well; which are two absolute musts if one is going to make a go at the genre. Not to mention the writing works.
Don't let this one pass you by... "The Devil's Candy" gets a high FAST FOOD MEAL review.
