  TEETH

TEETH, is one of the most original screenplays Ive seen in years. Similar to the 2007 movie PERFUME, which established a world and characters I had never before experienced, TEETH also transports the viewer into a strange and violent world where nothing is as it seems. I loved this film. I thought every aspect- from editing to direction, acting to script, character development to dialogue- was handled, not only professionally, but intelligently. The themes in this film are bizarre, to say the least. And to think that it has not been the talk of every movie-goer in every country is somewhat appalling.

For only its painfully obvious originality would I give the movie a FOUR COURSE MEAL review, but the fact remains everything else about the film is spot on, and it deserves more attention and accolades than it received. The very concept alone will turn most people off, and there are, most definitely, a couple cringe-worthy moments, but the movie is too smart and too well executed to be placed amongst the ranks of B-horror.
