"5th Passenger" is not a great movie, but it tries to be a good movie. And you know what? I appreciate that. Besides that there are some "Buffy" and "Star Trek" actors throughout. I liked the "Class" distinction; albeit never thoroughly explained. I liked the twist ending. Sure the special effects were along the lines of "Babylon 5", and the costuming was at best laughable (the skin tight space suits were ridiculous), but this movie is obviously low budget. Thus they're struggling to pay for everything, and they did okay.
Most will probably never see this film and that's okay too. But I kind of like to trumpet small, independent, low-budget films. It's hard to make movies, and this one is not as bad as it's dismal reviews. I give "5th Passenger" a low FAST FOOD MEAL review.
