  BLADE RUNNER- THE FINAL CUT

What's to say about Blade Runner that hasn't all ready been said? For me, as a young man growing up in the Rocky Mountains and the wilds of Montana, this movie changed my life. Arguably, Blade Runner is the greatest Science Fiction movie ever made, helmed by my all-time favorite director, Ridley Scott. There are performances in this film that defy normal reason. How is it that, brilliant actor of his day, Rutger Hauer, can make you feel pity, even sympathy for his character, Roy Batty- a Replicant- when he's jamming a Geneticists eyeballs into the back of his skull with his thumb? Where does Harrison Ford get such a pained, jaded, and tired look? How is it that the special effects, sans C.G.I., look better than anything that has been done in the twentieth century?

Blade Runner- The Final Cut is a sight to behold. The colors are magnificent and the beauty of this film transcends every other Science Fiction movie in the past two decades. If you can, run out to the theatres and see this version, this is how this film was meant to be seen, on the big screen.

Suffice it to say, Blade Runner- The Final Cut gets a FOUR COURSE MEAL review.
