This movie is now four years old, but it was new to me when I stumbled on it while haplessly meandering through the wilderness of netflix. It is poignant, profound, beautiful, horrific, tragic, sad, uplifting, realistic... and amazing. The cinematography is beyond words, as is Idris Elba's superlative performance. This is a perfect example of how good movies can be, and how deeply they can impact one's life. It's on netflix right now. See it!
