"Fury Road" is an all-out assault on the senses. There is very little to no subtlety. It is a hockey stick sweeping across the jaw... a baseball bat to the back of the head... an iron pipe across the bridge of the nose! And I loved it!
If you've seen "The Road Warrior" then "Fury Road" is familiar ground. We've seen all of it before, but there is such a high production value, and such a relentless pace that it is still a joy to behold. Don't go into this thinking it is anything but a two hour chase scene. It is just and simply that. But therein lies its beauty. "Fury Road" knows what it is. And it revels in its inherent excess and bombastic drama as if it were wallowing in a thick mire of oil, dirt, and blood.
"Fury Road" kicks ass! Don't over think it. Just enjoy. "Mad Max: Fury Road" gets the highest FAST FOOD MEAL review I can give.
