What's to say really? "Rogue One" is flippin' great! I flippin' loved it! If you are a Star Wars fan you will love it. If you don't, you should question the fact of whether or not you are truly a Star Wars fan. This is the story I wanted to see. This is the story they needed to tell; tragic, dark, yet ending on a note of hope... let's call it "A New Hope". I have a minor quibble- didn't like the focused attention on the C.G.I. Grand Moff Tarkin. For my part, I wish they had shot it with less focus, so I might question how they did it. But this is my only quibble. Otherwise, the movie is, dare I say it, near to perfect. I might even go so far as to say I liked it better than "The Force Awakens". Oooooohhhhh... and Darth. Sweet, sweet, Darth. Darth is, as Darth should have been in the prequels... the consummate face of evil.
"Rogue One" gets a FOUR COURSE MEAL review. This is a great Star Wars story.
