Wow. 20-freakin'-18... the year of their lord. What a trip, oh, and my first review of the year.
"Dunkirk" is brilliant... simply brilliant. The effects are awe-inspiring; and if truth be told what little C.G. there was in the film was remarkably indistinguishable from the the amazing practical effects. I'm very happy Nolan decided to do a movie like this: after his last two- "Inception" and "Interstellar"- I thought we would be subjected to more of a convoluted psycho-drama and the bending non-linear philosophical rantings of time manipulation. Thank the elder gods I was wrong!
"Dunkirk" gets my highest review: FOUR COURSE MEAL review.
