Holy crap! "Sicario" is freakin' great! A steadily paced film that pulls you into the darkness of drug cartels and the C.I.A. With some of the best lighting and cinematography I have seen this year, not to mention stellar performances from all three of the leads: Blunt, Toro, and Brolin, and a soundtrack that burns like hell fire itself, this is a three hour action film that actually asks some big questions. And this is coming from someone who hated Villeneuve's "Prisoners".
"Sicario" is superb. Probably, the best, intelligent action movie I have seen in years. It gets a FOUR COURSE MEAL review.
