  PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN:

Wow! Wow, wow, wow! WOW!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, gets a whole-hearted, even raucous, high FAST FOOD MEAL review.

I loved this movie from start to finish. The operative word here is FUN. "Pirates" is so much fun I didn't even realize how long it is. The thing that is so wonderful about the film is that every time the action scenes became ridiculous (I mean, we're talking way, WAY "over the top" action scenes) and I began to think, "Man, this is stupid", the director and the cast brilliantly decided not to take themselves too serious, which meant I also didn't have to take them too seriously; which also meant I could have as much fun with the ridiculous action scenes as the cast seemed to be having.

Fun, fun, FUN! "Pirates", pure and simple is fun. Oh! And it's hellishly entertaining! The script might not be as overtly brilliant as the first film, but at least they had the wherewithal to employ the same writers, thereby establishing a very cohesive line of speech. Quip dialogue, amazing action sequences, some eye-bleeding C.G.I., and a return to the fabulous world established in the first film makes Dead Man's Chest just as much fun as Curse of the Black Pearl, hell, maybe even a little more.
