  JURASSIC WORLD

Okay, so here it is. I know I said I was going to ban movies like "Jurassic World", but what's a man to do when his girlfriend wants to watch said schlock?

Yes. This movie is bad. Bad on all accounts except one: the acting. I like Chris Pratt. I like Vincent D'Onofrio. And I REALLY like Bryce Dallas Howard! But even these fine folk could not turn this re-boot into something other than, yet another horrible mess. The story is tried and tired. The characters are boring and without depth. The first "Jurassic Park" is fantastic, far better than the book, and "Jurassic World" is like some teenager doing his version of the original film on youtube. Don't watch this film. Even the delectable Malbec I was imbibing could not make me think how better served we would have been if we had simply watched "Jurassic Park" again, and left the tame, uninspired "Jurassic World" where it belongs... in the trash. How this failure of a film garnered a 7.1% imdb rating and a 71% rating on rotten tomatoes I will never know.

"Jurassic World" was boring and stupid. And that is why I give it my lowest review: RICE CAKE review.
